I Became a Monk in Japan and Exorcised Demons of Other’s Housewives

Chapter 11 - The Temptation of Kurosaki Masako!

Chapter 11: The Temptation of Kurosaki Masako!

“Master, is there any way to get rid of this vengeful spirit?”

“As long as you can send this spirit to rest, no matter the cost, I will agree to it.”

Kurosaki Masako knelt on the ground, bowing deeply, her voice trembling.

Her fear of this vengeful spirit had reached the level of pure hatred.

After all, this spirit’s presence was anything but a lingering attachment or unwillingness to part from her husband.

What she felt from the vengeful spirit of Kurosaki Kenji was nothing but intense malice.

That bastard simply wanted to drag her down to become a ghost alongside him.

She didn’t want to die, and now, her only hope rested in the young exorcist before her.

Looking at the terrified woman, Lu Jin, however, remained completely calm.

With a string of prayer beads in hand, he pondered for a moment.

As the oppressive atmosphere grew heavier, the look on Kurosaki Masako’s face shifted from hopeful anticipation to despair. Only then did Lu Jin slowly speak of a solution.

“The vengeful spirit is still in this house, but I have gravely injured him with my talisman, so he won’t show up for now.”

“If you can find a way to lure him out, I can send him to rest.”

Lu Jin remained composed. A mere vengeful spirit—exorcising it was nothing difficult for someone of his abilities.

The problem now was figuring out how to draw it out.

Since the spirit was heavily wounded, if it had even a shred of intelligence, it wouldn’t reveal itself.

So, how to lure it out—that was the woman’s problem.

After all, his job was simply to perform the exorcism.

Of course, if there was absolutely no way to lure the spirit out, there was a second solution.

He could perform a grand ritual, purifying the entire mansion inside and out.

At that point, no matter where the spirit was hiding, it would be exorcised.

However, such a ritual would take a long time—at least three days.

In simple terms, it was possible, but it would cost extra.

If there was an easier way, he didn’t want to waste unnecessary time.

“Lure him out?”

Kurosaki Masako looked troubled.

How am I supposed to lure out a vengeful spirit?

I’m not an exorcist.

“The spirit is already wounded. He knows my power, so ordinary methods won’t work. We have to target what he cares about the most.”

“A vengeful spirit’s mind is chaotic. If we provoke it using what it cares about most, it will be forced to reveal itself. Once it does, I will handle the rest.”

Lu Jin pushed the problem back to her.

Since the spirit lingered in this mansion, it must have something here it was attached to.

Otherwise, it wouldn’t have stayed for so long.

“Something he cares about…”

Kurosaki Masako murmured to herself, then suddenly seemed to realize something. The pallor of her face regained a hint of color.

“There is something.”

Seeing Lu Jin’s puzzled expression, she turned her head away, embarrassed.

Her ears, flushed red, made Lu Jin suspect what she was thinking.

“My husband… he had a very controlling personality. He never allowed me to interact with other men. After we got married, I barely even kept in touch with old classmates or my own father.”

“And… not long after our wedding, he had a car accident. It caused some issues with his body. After that, his personality became even more extreme. Sometimes, even if I just greeted a neighbor, he would get angry.”

A glimmer of understanding flashed in Lu Jin’s eyes.

No wonder—despite being wealthy, owning a mansion, and marrying such a beautiful young wife—this man had turned into a vengeful spirit after death.

People with such extreme personalities had much stronger obsessions after death compared to ordinary spirits.

If their minds became twisted, they could easily turn into malevolent ghosts that harmed others.

“That makes things tricky.”

Lu Jin frowned. The vengeful spirit’s obsession was Kurosaki Masako herself.

To lure it out, they had to find a way to provoke it using her.

That was a bit of a headache.

For now, he couldn’t think of a good way to anger the vengeful spirit.

He couldn’t just ask Kurosaki Masako to bring another man into the mansion and act intimately in front of the spirit, could he?

Even if that method worked, he doubted the woman would agree.

Even in the Island Country, a woman seducing another man in front of her dead husband’s spirit would be unacceptable.

However, it seemed that he had underestimated just how terrified she was of her husband’s vengeful spirit.

Just as Lu Jin was deep in thought, he suddenly heard approaching footsteps.

Surprised, he looked up and saw Kurosaki Masako, dressed in a silk nightgown, biting her lip as she walked toward him.

“As long as it provokes him, that’s enough, right?”

Seeing her misty eyes and the seductive air about her, Lu Jin took a deep breath.

He felt his Buddhist Vajra Staff stir restlessly, almost as if it was about to explode.

This temptress!

Lu Jin’s eyes burned red. He bit his tongue hard, but it was difficult to suppress the blazing desire to exorcise.

Seeing his struggle, a hint of satisfaction flickered in Kurosaki Masako’s eyes.

It seems like my charm is still as potent as ever.

Even a high-level monk like him can’t resist my temptation.
